There is no precedent for the NCAA overturning the results of a completed game. In the infamous 2015 matchup between Duke and the University of Miami, it seemed like a miracle when he made eight laterals on a 75-yard kickoff return in a win over Miami. The next day, Duke head coach David Cutliffe protested that the result would be overturned, but the NCAA does not have procedures in place to overturn the result of a game. Duke Miami umpire suspended for two league games.
A game that changed the outcome was also played in 1940 between two Ivy League rivals, Cornell and Dartmouth.
