Buffalo Bills (13-3): The Bills won the AFC East for the third straight year, but the high point of the Jets’ season came in Week 9 when they beat the Bills 20-17 in front of their loyal fans. In two games against the Bills, Pro Bowl CB Ahmad ‘Sauce’ Gardner had 11 tackles, 2 PDs and 1 INT.
Miami Dolphins (9-8): The Jets ended the season in South Florida with a loss, but faced the ‘Fins at MetLife in October with a 40-17 win. Those 40 points were the 8th time Green & White had scored 40+ points on the Dolphins in their 114-game streak. The Jets’ offense scored all 5 touchdowns on rushing plays, only the third time in franchise history that the Jets had rushed for more than 5 TDs in a game and the first time since 1993. Miami scored its first touchdown since 2016.
New York Jets: 2023 Schedule Opponents
New England Patriots (8-9): While the Jets have improved in divisional play this season, the Pats have been a thorn in their side. New England has now won 14 straight over the Jets, leading to a doubleheader in 2022. The Jets combined for 12 sacks against the Pats, tying six of Mac Jones’ downfalls in the two losses.
Kansas City Chiefs (14-3): Patrick Mahomes, the likely NFL MVP who passed for 5,250 yards and 41 touchdowns in the regular season, will lead the Chiefs to MetLife Stadium. The Jets have won their last four meetings with the Chiefs in their last four at home. Rookie WR Garrett Wilson, who set rookie franchise marks in receptions and yards, will be ready for a big sophomore campaign.
Los Angeles Chargers (10-7): Justin Herbet is one of the NFL’s most talented youngsters, but this game will feature many of the league’s most feared forwards, including Joey Bosa and Jets MVP Quinnen Williams, who already secured a Pro Bowl. and Team MVP honors.
Bucks Announce 2022 Internship Opportunities
Philadelphia Eagles (14-3): Jets GM Joe Douglas, who earned a ring with the Eagles as vice president of personnel, will watch his team tango with a Philadelphia company that may be the best team in the NFL. . The Jets are behind people along the defensive line, but injuries have decimated the O line this season. The AFC champion New York has yet to beat the Birds in a regular season game.
Washington Chiefs (8-8-1): Both the Jets and Chiefs struggled with inconsistency in the QB position, but defenses were strong as New York entered Week 18 ranked 5th in total defense and Washington 6th.
Houston Texans (3-13-1): The Texans outscored the Colts 32-31 on Sunday to lose the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The win combined with the Bears’ loss to the Vikings means Chicago has the top pick in April.
Chicago Bears 2023 Opponents
Atlanta Falcons (7-10): Atlanta tied seven wins despite finishing 1-7 on the road. Both teams need to improve on the turnover differential, as the Falcons finished at -4 and the Jets at -7.
Denver Broncos (5-12): Back in Mile High City for the third straight season, in Week 7 the Jets earned their fourth straight when RB rookie Breece Hall threw for a 62-yard TD (72 total yards in the game) . before suffering a season-ending ACL injury. Add the loss of OL versatile Alijah Vera-Tucker as a sophomore to a season-ending elbow injury, and the 16-9 victory came at a huge cost to Green & White.
Las Vegas Raiders (6-11): The Jets will make their first trip to Sin City against one of the most famous and fierce rivals in franchise history – harkening back to the old days of the AFL. The Raiders sat QB Derek Carr for the last two games of the season and RB Josh Jacobs, who had a tight end, had a career year with 1,653 yards and 12 TDs on the ground. Pro Bowler LB CJ Mosley had 7 tackles in Miami and finished another impressive campaign with 158.
Chicago Bears’ Opponents For 2023 24 Nfl Season Schedule
Dallas Cowboys (12-5): It’ll be fun to watch Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed tried to shut down CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup. Gardner and Reed are a corner combo that has 32 PDs and hasn’t suffered a loss in 2022. The ‘Boys open the postseason against the Buccaneers in Tampa.
New York Giants (9-7-1): The G-Men made the postseason in Brian Daboll’s first season. Saquon Barkley had a tremendous rebounding campaign two years after suffering a torn ACL. Breece Hall is expected to return to the Jets in 2023 and his return will be huge for an offense that lost its home run power down the stretch.
Cleveland Browns (7-10): For the second consecutive season, the Jets will travel to Cleveland. Trailing the Browns 30-17 with 1:55 left in the fourth quarter of Week 2, the Jets mounted a 14-point comeback to pull off one of the most unlikely wins in franchise history. The two teams combined for 807 yards, but Garrett Wilson had the final say with a game-winning 15-yard game by Joe Flacco. Pro Bowler Justin Hardee, who grew up in Cleveland, made it possible with an onside kick recovery. Deshaun Watson, rusty on his five-game return to the field, will have a full rest season with the Brownies.
